Michelle Davenport
President and Owner
Michelle earned her degree in Human Development and a certificate in Early Childhood Education. In 1987, she was named Volunteer of the Year in Sonoma County, California for her contributions at a home for abused children. After moving up to the Portland area, she ran a successful day care in her home for 12 years before starting Creative Childcare Solutions in 1998. "I wanted to create a win-win experience, where the kids can enjoy a party atmosphere while their parents tend to business away from home." Michelle has built an excellent reputation by remaining extremely flexible with clients' needs ... while never compromising on the top quality of care CCS provides. "The rewards of this job are priceless."
Michelle and her husband live in the Pacific Northwest with their three sons. They recently purchased a country property on nearly 10 acres, where they plan to host weddings and other special events.
Esther Hamilton
Weddings and Events Coordinator
Esther worked for 17 years in the corporate world before finding her bliss at Creative Childcare Solutions. Now her passions and unique gifts are perfectly blended. She is thrilled to work with our clients and help brides and party planners to insure that all of their guests enjoy themselves. "I love knowing I'm having a positive impact, whether it's for an evening or a weekend."
When she isn't entertaining and spending time with family and friends, you can find her gardening, traveling, running, cooking, or working at her sewing machine, creating accessories and tutus, "all that is twirly and girly." Esther lives in the Pacific Northwest.
Leslie Carver
Office Manager
Leslie's varied background gives her the wealth of experience she needs to keep our office running smoothly. She earned her degree in Arts and Performance (with a Music minor), worked as a nanny to put herself through college, and spent 19 years in administrative and customer service roles. "I can honestly say that I love my job. It's so rewarding to go to work every day knowing that what we do helps strengthen families and build relationships."
In her "spare" time, Leslie enjoys singing in her church choir, photography, scrapbooking, and paper crafting arts. She and her husband live in the Pacific Northwest and have two daughters.
Angela Spielman
Buyer / HR
Angela has 20 years experience in office management and customer service. In 2005, she joined the team at Creative Childcare Solutions, and has delighted us with her sweet attitude and ultra creative flair. "I love combining my work and creative skills — organizing a play area for better flow, and connecting with kids through art and play. It's fun to find cool dress up clothes or just the right dance song to get them moving."
Angela enjoys crafts, cooking, baking, decorating, and sharing her eclectic taste in music with her friends. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their blended family of three cats.
